Made a deposit two checks only one showed on deposit slip. Teller said I added wrong?

Went through in a hurry this morning has two checks one for 1000$ and one for $350 with $150 back. She said I had added wrong and was changing the deposit slip eight fifty. I did not realize that she meant to eight hundred fifty dollars!. I said ok. NOOOO problems with this bank in 12 years. When I got home I realized that the $350 check was not in checking or savings and she had only dep the $850. It was a signed check. What should be my next step? Check was a personal check from someone written to me.
