How do I fix bottom margin to 1 inch in Word 2003? ***read whole quesion**?

Please note... I already have set it (and all other margins to 1 inch under page setup) . All other margins are right (pagination 0.5 is correct, heading and left and right margins are 1 inch) Everything is set and working correctly.... except the bottom is about 1 1/2 instead . It leaves a big white margin on the bottom and I cant find a way to fix it. I need it for an mla style english 102 research paper. It will get counted off if I dont fix it. I think something else is causing it(maybe the header or something else) How do I fix it . Pleeease help. Thx
