Catholics: What are your reasons for staying in a church which continues to have scandals?

Because there is no denomination on earth without them. If I wanted to find a denomination without abuse, I would have to invent my own. Catholic priests are, despite the implication of the news reports, among the least likely demographic on earth to molest a child. It is the safest place to be.
