What to wear with light blue denim shirt, please help!?

19YO Male here in need of urgent advice. To keep this as short as possible the only rants I own are dark denim or grey denim. Are either of there plausable to be wearing with said shirt, is the dark denim too contrasting or the grey too dull? Likewise for the tee underneath, White goes well with it but I want to be a little more adventurous about it, I have a darkish grey and dark red/burgundy with black print colour in mind but are there too severe for the shirt? Lastly I know I shall be wearing my newly purchased black boots so I'm trying to take these into account too. I'm not usually this clueless but I'm really stumped here for some silly reason. Anyway thank you for reading and please, any help is greatly appreciated.
