If Hillary hadn't voted for the Iraq War, do you think she would have won the Democratic nomination?
In the face of a Barack Obama nominating victory, we can only begin to wonder how the front runner of over three years with huge political machinery lost. She is more experienced, and she is much more in depth on issues people care about. Amongst other reasons, I think the Iraq War vote may have done her in. The fact her main opponent was ALWAYS against it gave him an heir of principle, and reinforced Hillary's calculated image. I think some Dems also remember how hard a time Kerry had on the issue of Iraq after being dubbed "flip flop" thus taking away most real talking points. Obama was able to rally himself as the only real anti-Iraq War candidate. So, do you think that if Hillary had not voted for the war in Iraq, she could have won the Democratic nomination?
